On Saturday 3rd October, we will be especially remembering the children who have been killed.

If you can, please make a placard to bring with you. It can be as simple as a piece of cardboard and marker pen, or a beautiful piece of artwork. What matters is that it carries a message that honours the children and demands an end to their killing. 

Some suggested slogans:

• When will Palestinian children wake to the sound of birds, not drones?

• Be silent when children sleep, not when they’re being killed

• The smallest coffins are the heaviest

• Killing kids is not self-defence

• Hands off Palestinian children

• Children deserve fun, not funerals

• Stop killing children

• 20,000 dead kids. None had a gun.

We are also looking for people to read a poem during the demonstration. If you feel able to do this, please let us know.

We would also like people to bring flowers, a soft toy, or a pair of children’s shoes. These will be symbolically laid during the demonstration as part of our remembrance. You will be able to take your items home afterwards, or, if you have bought shoes or toys from a charity shop, return them to a charity shop!
