As the Labour Party Conference opens, a Walk of Witness will begin, from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, led by Bishops Ruth Worsley and Tom Naylon.
It finishes at Liverpool Cathedral where there will be a panel discussion featuring Daoud Nassar (Tent of Nations), Canon Yazid Said, and representatives of the Just Peace Coalition,

Simona Abdallah will be welcomed to the city for an afternoon of thought-provoking conversation intertwined with Simona’s powerful performances on the darbuka, a hand-played traditional percussion instrument.
This will be followed by a night of exhilarating rhythms and mixes from Simona and two other powerful musicians of Arab heritage: Palestinian music producer, filmmaker and DJ, Hiba Salameh, and Jordanian sound artist, creative producer and DJ, Yasmeen Soudani (MUSYS).

A unique opportunity to hear Father Fadi Diab, Rector of St Andrew's Anglican church, Ramallah (West Bank) speak in Warrington!
As well as ministering to his congregation living under occupation, Father Fadi has presented workshops at the World Council of Churches on the theological understanding of the Palestine Israeli conflict and spoken widely at churches in Europe and the USA.

This is an opportunity to honour his memory and contribute towards Sadaqa Jariya (continuous charity) for him. All money raised will go to Zaytoun to plant olive trees in Palestine 🫒.
When Palestinians enjoy the shade or the fruit from these trees, Nabhan will continue to receive the reward. It is a double blessing food and hope for Palestine and eternal reward for Nabhan 🤲🇵🇸.

Join us for our regular demonstration, then lace up your shoes for a walk along the sea wall.
On Friday 17th April, Palestinian runners will take to the streets of Bethlehem for the 10th Bethlehem Marathon, held in the shadow of the illegal Separation Wall. In solidarity, The Amos Trust organises Run the Wall every year, uniting people worldwide to demand Palestinian rights.
We'll set off from The Atkinson at 1pm, heading down Nevill Street, over the bridge and along the sea wall, a scenic 3km (under 2 miles). We'd love to see you there!
